Absolutely love these emoji pocket pillows! Cute, handy and perfect to hold in your hand. Lots of different designs from the grade 4 students. Great work sewing the pillow and adding details of their emoji with coloured felt.
Grade 5 students really enjoyed making their Ned Kelly doll. Starting with crayons rubbed over concrete to make a textured body, they then cut fabric to make the clothing. The background was sketching of gum trees into printing foam. The students chose the colours green, brown and black to print with. Messy but fun and as you can see very effective. 
Grade 2 students have been looking at all things Transport and On the Move. They completed some gorgeous hot air balloons, which involved lots of paper weaving and smaller vehicles such as cars, buses and planes with icypole sticks. Love the display of them, hovering over James Rizzi inspired houses. Such a burst of colour in our school corridor.
Grade 2 students read “How to Catch a Star” by Oliver Jeffers and created with their own imagination, a way to catch a star. They loved using the pipette for the background, which gave them a different effect. Be sure to check these out in the school corridor. 
Brightening up the start of the year with these colour wheel sunflowers. Grade one students used the colour wheel to help coordinate their paper petals, as well as learning about warm and cool tones. 
Love the colours in these bright jellyfish created by Grade 2 students. The use of the black glue really stands out with the choice of watercolours. These look fantastic in our corridor.
